The water has been very low, hence the attached photo. Rain last night has brought the height up quite nicely. It will be interesting to see what happen during the next few days.

The river is at summer levels and the day is over cast. No one was more surprised than both Richard and Simon when the fresh springer took Richard’s fly and turned tail.

April fools day has been and gone

Here we are in April with the lowest amount of water in the river since late may last year. It is amazing. Don’t worry snow and rain are forcast so the Easter weekend fishermen should be in luck. We have had one of our best starts to the season with approximately 27 fish caught.
